I was once told that life is not ‘about sheltering from the storm, but instead about learning how to dance in the rain’. Understandably entirely metaphorical, I decided to interpret these words quite literally when a major storm rolled into town this week. In my shorts and a t-shirt I took to our balcony to be doused by the downpour. I wrote this haiku about my experience.
Pina colada?
No thanks, the downpour is here,
I’m caught in the rain
