Humour is so intrinsically subjective in its nature. One mans laugh is another mans grumble. My personal sense of humour is a perplexing blend of dark, witty cynicism and light, airy puns. I enjoy, equally, near-disturbing spiteful reparte and silly word plays that churlishly change the meaning of a sentence. That said, slapstick, toilet and crude humour rarely tickle my funny bone. I wrote this haiku about my sense of humour.
Clever, twisted wit,
Oh, I adore your snide tongue,
I find it punny.
