The above status was one I posted on Facebook after an altercation with a screaming street preacher; religious denomination irrelevant. It made me come to a simple but stark realisation.
Only those who cannot articulate their point, scream it.
Only those with an inability to understand the simple joys of life, scream about hate.
Only those who are emotionally burned, scream.
Suddenly, I realised that my anger had turned to compassion. This incredibly stupid person was screaming because they didn’t know better. It was like watching an injured animal lash out because it didn’t know another way to explain that they are hurt.
(If you look carefully you can see a fishy typo in my Facebook post, which was later amended).
