120. Fate

I recently found out an amazing coincidence considering my partners parents choice of names for their cars. They named their first car his name and their second car mine. This was years before either of us were born. Incredible. It inspired me to write this.

Fate, do you need me to believe in you?

Or can I dance lost tentative,

Until the bitter end.

Fate, do you trust my judgement, truly?

Or do you think I’m poor or will,

But void to all intents.

Fate, I can’t convince myself,

But I think you exist.

Please don’t hold my faith against me,

I’m a human, chill.
