131. Heal

Recently, I have been writing a lot of submissions for newpapers and magazines. It’s in equal parts cathartic as it is draining. The payoff of being published nationally far outweighs the mental fatigue, but it can be quite hard to maintain my creativity elsewhere. Although the solution to this problem is far from complex, in that it involves simply switching off, I still often struggle to do this. The creative mind is hard to quell. Struggling to rest, I wrote this haiku.

Creativity,

Drained, it’s gone away for now

Please return my friend.
