One of my favourite meals is sushi. The simple pleasure of finely hewn fresh fish, soft rice, spicy wasabi, bitter ginger and a pair of well polished chopsticks. On this day, I also had a native Ontario craft beer. Not so healthy, but delicious. It inspired this haiku.
Salmon sliced slickly,
Flakey rice all cobbled in,
Sea green binding all.
