At any sporting event of note I’ve ever been to, I’ve always had a moment where I’ve felt as if I was part of a larger consciousness. A group, a clan, a tribe, a supportive rabble who cheer innocuously at all junctures and boo to mark displeasure at any dissapointment. It made me wonder about the concept of a hive mind, and how objection in a crowd holds little worth, if not heard over the bellows of the masses.
They all shouted yes,
My no lost amidst the roar
My words meaningless.
