I lay under the guarding shade of a parasol at the far end of a music festival the other day, letting my sunkissed body rest between musical adventures. It was a soothing and soulful experience and I felt truly at one with the soft breeze, the warm sun and the tickle-inducing green grass. Over the distance sound waves carried remnant morsels of songs, shedding glimpses of meaning. I wrote this haiku about the experience.
Far off bass vibrates,
Atoms shaking all who wait,
I lie, at one, still.
