I happened upon this incredibly coloured house when wandering around Toronto’s Chinatown the other day. It stood as a palate of bold beautiful hues amongst a sea of ashen grey and brown. It inspired me to write these words.
You know it’s not all live then die,
There’s something in these eyes, I hide,
You know that all is well, at peace,
When lifted our disguise, we see,
That when we live in colour code,
We know just how to thrive.
