I recently went to see an outdoor screening of the film ‘Mean Girls’, presented by some of the cast at the harbour front centre in Toronto (pictured above). It was a joyous affair with around 2000 spectators, cheers and whooping throughout and an interesting video conference with star Lindsay Lohan punctuating the film at the halfway point. All in all, as an event for Pride here in Toronto, it was a thoroughly enjoyable affair. This following haiku is for all those who loved the film growing up. For all who didn’t it remains simply as a message of unity (spoken with a few words that might not make immediate sense).
You can sit with us,
Looking fetch, and grool, my friend,
Moral? Only love.
