So much has transpired in the 2 years since I first brought home my little baby bunny bundle of joy. In fact, in rabbit years (which are about 10:1 against human years), she is now about 20. It’s incredible to think not only how much shorter her life will be than mine (discarding untimely death), but also how much time of this shorter life that she spends in a pure and joyful mindset. Happily bouncing around the place, nibbling on food and simply enjoying existing. I wrote this haiku about what we can learn from animals.
Happy just to be,
We are bounded by belief,
That were purpose filled.

Lovely haiku Eli. I’m really intrigued with the bunnies, so adorable. I understand they make fabulous pets. Enjoy! ~ Mia

Indeed they do. Mine is a delight.. She is a soft light brown with white on the tips of her nose and paws – hence I’ve called her Latte (much to the dismay of my peers) .. Eli.

Latte is certainly lucky, and her name is perfect!
