Weekend adventures are always an unmitigated joy, often regressed back to normality by the moodiest of Monday blues. My latest adventure kicked off with my friends and I taking a Tiki Water Taxi to the island, off the coast of Toronto. We walked along its breadth and at one particularly pertinent point stripped down to our underwear and ran headlong into the freezing cold waters of the lake. I wrote this poem about adventuring.
No grand purpose forced,
Making real, our special time,
Adventure for free.
