I can’t bug-in (see photo above to understand pun) to explain how much fun I had visiting the botanical gardens in Monteal. Aside from the fact that it was there that I hatched one of my rare Poke-eggs on Pokemon Go, I also enjoyed some beautiful landscape and even experienced an impromptu gig courtesy of a Québécois songstress who strummed a guitar softly and sang about love. On returning to work after this adventure, I couldn’t help but feel that I was tied back down. Like a balloon that had floated away for moment before being re-snatched from the air by the parent of the child who had just let it go. I wrote this haiku about post-holiday blues.
Here we go again,
Will this be, last time I am,
Ever really free?
