286. Progress

I wrote and sent this to a friend who was on their way to a big interview..

Put your best foot forward…

Over and over until someone gives you that chance to shine.

Being successful isn’t something reserved for people who are lucky, it’s solely accessed by people who try – continuously. Who fail over and over until the day they don’t.

No amount of failure can outweigh one success born from it.

Be brave, be bold, be you.

You are a superstar. Now go and shine.

  1. Love…no amount of failure can out weigh the success awaiting…

    Just trying is success.

That’s a lovely interpretation… I’ve always looked at my life in such a negative light but I’ve achieved some amazing things:

      – I was a touring musician who sang songs I wrote to crowds of 2000 people

      – I was a radio host

      – I am now a digital marketing specialist helping brands connect with their consumers online

      – I’m soon to be an author.

I guess what I’m saying is, as I’m also only 26, that I should probably not be so hard on myself. But then I have also been:

      – suicidally depressed
      – a chronic anxiety sufferer
      – a near alcoholic (probably actually an alcoholic)

So my life to date has been both beautiful and terrifying.

This is what my book is about by the way!

      1. Wow just 26 you have achueved a lot snd have mre to achieve.

We all get negative feelings and it over whelms us. Create daily habits that remind you of what you have achieved, be grateful for all the small things in your life and affirmations help.

We are so fortunate to have a home, hot water, capacity to earn, food to eat, bed to sleep. Some dont have basic. And take power from the divine if u believe in.

Then you will live in appreciation and the negative will reduce. Avoid thinking negative by replacing with positive.

This is absolutely the route to fulfilment! Thanks for the positivity. My book is all about how I found gratitude for all that I have – including the regularly overlooked things you mentioned such as food, water and shelter – I couldn’t agree with you more. Thanks Bella.

LOVE that thought. Such a wonderful reason to keep going! Thanks for the follow, btw. I’ll be back around to see what you’re up to. 🙂

Many thanks for the kind words! We must always remember that life is a series of lessons to be learnt. Winners don’t win by not taking risks and risk takers can inherently lose.

Thanks for your thoughts. Don’t be a stranger 🙂

      Eli.
