308. Tow

About memories..

Forever in tow,

Toughest to unknow,

All the tiny things we weren’t.

It’s a character from a book. I saw it at a writers fair this weekend. Pretty cool ey?

  2. Somewhere down the road we reach a point where the stories start ending and we find out how things will turn out, among them we learn what it is we will actually do vs. what we could do/have done. I don’t know how to explain it well, but it’s a strange moment because we live so much of our lives as “causes” or believing we’re causes (I don’t know for sure which — probably both) and potentialities, and suddenly we’re living in the midst of results.

The wonderfully fine line between infinite unfulfilled potential and very, very, finite reality.

I guess this is the process of growing.
