About grafitti…

And so the social storyboards,

Slip meaning onto city walls,

And sidewalks with their coloured scrawls,

Of debatably art.

I enjoyed this short poem Eli. There is a beauty about graffiti especially when you encounter it in a run down area. I visited the US last year and spent some time in Providence. There was some wonderful graffiti on the walls of the old industrial part of the city.

Definitely art. In the eyes of the beholder! I behold a certain beauty.

I totally agree, based on the intent though. Some graffiti is purposeful and filled with emotion. Other graffiti is less so.

      Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Yes, of course. Some of it is just vandalism. You’re welcome Eli, have a great day and weekend!
