332. Deviate

About how my outlook on life differs from many of my peers…

They say don’t trudge beyond the road,

Keep plodding on,

We’re close to joy, promotion,

Love, devotion,

Go.

I think, perhaps, if I’m sincere,

I’d like to deviate from here,

Into the wildest green,

Will clear, the doubt,

That dogs at night.

Nice poem Eli. Trying to get close to nature is a good road to follow.

It’s a constant distraction for me. A good one I believe.

  2. Very nice poem! It would be so good to be able to keep a balance. Do what you desire, not worry about peer pressure, in touch with the nature. At the same time keep yourself alive, contributing to the humankind.

That is indeed the challenge in building the perfect life. At once intimately at one with nature, and at one with all around us.
