334. Demise

About a rainy, autumnal sunset walk through Toronto…

Wet ember flows,

From beaming machine eyes,

As beads of cold lashed sweat,

Predict the clouds’ demise.

I like the images and enigmatic feel… I personally felt first hope and then doom.

It was a wonderfully kaleidoscopic emotional moment.

  3. Nicely written! We went to Toronto once in January. The river was frozen. I remember driving through an area with a huge clock with flower numbers, but the flowers are dead or covered with snow. I would like to go back in a spring or summer time. We went to Niagara Fall. Streets are still decorated for Christmas and has speakers playing music. Hi, I’m Miriam, would like to invite you to visit:

Thanks for sharing Miriam! You should certainly come back in the summer and enjoy the city then. It’s vibrant in the summer.

I like your blog and have followed it 🙂

      1. Thank you for the follow. We went to Vancouver BC many times when my sister’s family lived there. We seem to like to go north in the winter. One year we got to see the ‘Bear Jump,’ is it what they call it. Jump in the ice cold water naked on the first day of the year? We should go back in the summer.

That Bear Jump sounds like so much fun. I’ve not heard of it! Haha.
