440. Revamp

About retail therapy, and how it lets me glimpse at what I look like to others…

I’m fat, he said,

Unsure it’s true,

Applicably, it’s not.

I was obese,

Yet now I’ve ceased,

To be,

Still all I see.

So I take debit,

Tap, tap, tap,

And pay away my woes.

And standing there in my new threads,

I see the self, I don’t.
